home educated students
Whether by choice, or because school stopped working.
We can take a single subject or the whole timetable, work to exam board specifications, and support you through entry as a private candidate.
how it works
A single subject, or the whole timetable.
You can move between them as the year changes. Nothing has to be decided up front.
Some families want one subject covered properly because it's the one they can't teach at home. Others want the whole timetable held together. Both work, and you can move between them as the year changes.
Sitting exams outside a school is its own piece of admin, with deadlines that don't forgive being missed. Your family lead handles the process with you rather than sending you a checklist.
Home education can be isolating, for the student and often for the parent. The mentor works around the lessons rather than in them — revision systems, workload, motivation, and the ordinary business of getting through February with someone outside the family to be honest with.
where the learning happens
A classroom is one way to learn. For plenty of students it's the obstacle.
We teach where the learning actually happens — the kitchen table, standing up, in short bursts between training sessions, or at a time of day when a particular brain switches on. The setting is not a detail.
Tell us where the gaps are.
Whether that's one subject you can't cover at home or the entire year, we'll be straight with you about what we'd take on.
