cancellation
Changing your mind in the first 14 days.
When you accept a quote, the law gives you 14 days to change your mind, for any reason or none. This page explains how to cancel, what you pay if lessons have already started, and how you get your money back.
After the 14 days, you can still end your programme at any time. There is no minimum term: the terms explain how.
Your right to cancel
The 14 days
You can cancel within 14 days of the day you accept the quote. The 14 days start the day after you accept, so if you accept on 1 March, you can cancel up to the end of 15 March.
You don’t need to give a reason. It is enough to send us your message before the 14 days end, even if we read it later.
How to cancel
Tell us clearly that you want to cancel, by emailing contact@tipu-learn.com. Any message that says so is enough. You can use the form below if it helps, but you don’t have to.
Email us to cancel opens an email to us with the form already in it, for you to fill in and send.
We will reply to confirm we have your cancellation.
What you pay, and your refund
If lessons have already started
Lessons usually start within the 14 days, so when you accept, you ask us to start them. If you then cancel, you pay only for the lessons given before you told us, and nothing for the rest.
We work out what you pay from the price on your quote. For example, if your 4 weeks are 8 hours of lessons for £320 and 2 hours have been given when you cancel, you pay £80 and we refund £240.
If lessons started without you asking us to start them, you pay nothing for them.
Lessons after you cancel
We cancel every lesson booked after you tell us. If your invoice hasn’t been paid yet, we cancel it too, and ask only for any lessons already given.
Your refund
We refund what you have paid, less anything you owe for lessons given, within 14 days of the day you tell us you are cancelling. We pay it back the same way you paid, unless you ask us to use another way, and it costs you nothing.
